CAA/ACA 2021: Many Voices, Multiple Pasts

The winning entry in our logo contest was designed by Tekla Cunningham, a fourth year undergraduate student majoring in Biological Anthropology at the University of Winnipeg. The three figures in primary colours represent the different perspectives and diverse backgrounds of archaeologists in Canada, as well as the diversity of and within the communities we study in the past. The double triangle represents the "tent" that is Canadian archaeology, which aspires to be a community where all are welcome and have a place.
