The CAA Board of Directors invites members to submit short research notes to Katherine Cook (katherine.cook@umontreal.ca) in the following categories:

1. Feature "snapshots" of articles from the CJA in "blog" or short article format—fairly easy to read (not jargon/data dense), with an image or two.
2. Current research updates, including field school updates, field notes, and ongoing laboratory work.
3. Graduate students and post-docs in the end phases of their research are invited to write a short post about their methods, results, etc.
4. Pieces about important issues in the field of archaeology.
5. Session organizers for the CAA annual meeting are invited provide summaries to highlight their session at the upcoming conference and/or a follow-up discussion after the conference.
