Virtual Participation
While the 56th Annual Canadian Archeological Association Conference will be best experienced in-person, virtual attendance for some components will be an option.
Virtual Participants:
Virtual attendees will access Zoom links to the live sessions by logging in to the CAA website and navigating to the Registrants Only area. All registrants who did not already have a user account (e.g., CAA members) would have had one created when they registered for the conference, and should have received an Account Details email with login information, at the time that they registered. If you did not receive an Account Details email you can have a login link emailed to you by entering the email address you used to register in the Request New Password form. Click the link in the Replacement login information email to log in and set a password on your account (check your spam folder if you do not see it in your inbox). If you need assistance logging in or accessing the Registrants Only area, please contact the CAA Webmaster.
To ensure the security of the conference platforms, please do not share conference links and login details with people who are not registered for this year’s conference. If you know someone who would like to access the conference, please encourage them to register. All are welcome—members and non-members alike. You can register to attend the conference virtually here: https://canadianarchaeology.com/caa/annual-meeting/registration
The conference plenary addresses will be livestreamed.
There will be live stream presentation rooms where in-person presentations can be viewed in real time by those attending virtually. These rooms will allow online participants to be involved in the question-and-answer periods via online chat.
There will also be a virtual-only presentation room. This virtual-only room will host pre-recorded presentations. All virtual-only sessions will be posted for virtual attendees to watch at their convenience.
