The Royal Saskatchewan Museum (RSM) is a natural and Indigenous cultural heritage museum located in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, Treaty-4 territory and the traditional territory of the nêhiyawak, Anihšināpēk, Dakota, Lakota, and Nakoda, and the homeland of the Métis Nation. Established in 1906 as Saskatchewan’s provincial museum, the RSM’s mandate falls within areas that are guided by Treaty No. 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10.
The Royal Saskatchewan Museum is seeking to hire a Curator of Archaeology to join our vibrant and dedicated team. This is a two-year term position with the potential to expand to a permanent full-time position in the future. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D., preferably with professional (e.g. museum or university) or postdoctoral experience. We invite applications from candidates with experience in any field of archaeology, but our preference will be for a candidate with a research focus that is applicable to Saskatchewan.
