Archaeologist - Field Supervisor - Skeetchestn Natural Resources Corp
Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities are supervision of field- and office-based heritage resource management work relating to all aspects of regulatory heritage resources management, with a focus on forestry, mining, energy, parks and community infrastructure projects. Active participation in SNRC’s safety management process is a key responsibility of this position.
Who we are: Skeetchestn Natural Resources Corp (SNRC) is a full service community-based natural and cultural resources management company responsible for contributing to and directing all phases of land and resource planning and management in Skeetchestnulewc (Skeetchestn traditional territory). Our core goals include protecting title and rights, respecting Secwepemc laws, culture, and traditions, and building the capacity of community members to care for Secwepemculewc (Secwepemc lands). Our offices are in the community of Skeetchestn, approximately 40 minutes west of Kamloops and 30 minutes east of Cache Creek.
