The Royal Saskatchewan Museum is seeking an energetic and highly motivated Collections Manager to join our Archaeology program. The successful candidate for this 1-year term appointment will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks, reporting to and working closely with the Curator of Archaeology on the development and implementation of field excavations, maintaining the collections database, organizing collections, and contributing archaeological content in the development of museum exhibits and programs.

The successful candidate must have significant knowledge and ability in archaeological methods, including laboratory analysis and fieldwork activities. The candidate must also be proficient in cataloging and database use, understand museology, and be appreciative and dedicated to disseminating information about Saskatchewan's archaeology to public audiences.

The competencies required for this position are typically gained through obtaining a master’s degree in a relevant field.
