Abstract

This paper will consist of a summary of the Northern Yukon Research Progrmme's approach to the study of aboriginal man's adaptation to the Late Pleistocene and recent eastern Beringian space. Some of the information (primarily archaeological) gathered in the course of this first year of the programme is disucssed together with a number of emerging avenues of research.
