Abstract

Since 1993, Canadian federal government through Parks Canada program is doing consultations with First Nations and Inuit organizations and communities, in Quebec, in order to identify sites of national historical significance commemorating Aboriginal history. This paper is intended to present the project, its philosophy and the results that have been obtained to date.
