The Canadian Journal of Archaeology is a biannual publication of the Canadian Archaeological Association. Its principal mandate is to document the processes and results of Canadian archaeology, and to serve as a venue for descriptive studies, cultural historical syntheses, theoretical explorations, and sociocultural analyses relating to the practice and politics of archaeology.
